Where did July go?

End of July?
I can't believe July is almost over. I just recently started dating stuff July without first catching myself putting June on it first. Oh well, the one good thing about summer moving along quickly is it will start to cool down a bit at night. For the most part I can get my apartment cool before I go to bed at night, but the past couple of nights I've been a complete failure at the task. I then remember that in just a few months I'll be bring out the blankets again.

Softball
So Tuesday is our last regular season softball game. Overall I've been happy about playing softball, although looking back on things, and I know I've mentioned this before, I would have played soccer if I had to do it over again.

Movies
So I haven't done a movie update in a while....

DarkKnight
Went and saw this with a group of people last week, and I have to admit that I really liked this movie. I tried to see if I could pick up a hint of Heath Ledgers accent, and well I couldn't. A+ ... but no gold star though because I felt that it would have been better with just the Joker... That's just me though.

X-File.
I went into this with really really really low expectations after reading the reviews on CNN, and no it wasn't a great movie, but it was okay and I don't have any regrets going to see it. In fact it makes me want to sign up for netflix again so that I can watch all of the xfiles.

Hancock
I've written this before.... I'll go see anything with Will Smith in it, but this is two movies in a row that I've seen him in that I left shaking my head. That's not to say that this was a really crappy movie, but it could have been so much better.

I'm still wanting to see Wall-e, everyone has bailed on me so far, and well I guess that's it. I missed out on seeing Get Smart, which left the theatre awful fast, and Indiana Jones. But at least I'll have something to look forward to this winter.

Traveling
So I have a dilemma.... I have two September vacation possibilities and only enough time to do one of them. I can go to Seattle, or I can go to Vegas..... tough choice. I'll be pondering that over the next couple of weeks.
